DOOR TROUBLE SHOOTING

Door Sticking

1) Check wood jambs; could need adjusting or replacing
2) In winter months, make sure bottom section is not frozen to concrete
3) Lubricate tracks regularly
4) Check all moving parts for restrictions

Garage Door Shaking

1) Check pulley sheaves; could be loose or broken (if extension springs)
2) Check tracks; track brackets, hinges and rollers as they could be loose or need adjusting
3) Check horizontal track hangers; could be loose or need adjusting
4) Verify edge of door to beginning of track is 3/8-1/2″ no more

Cannot Lift Door

1) Check for broken spring(s)
2) Check for ice build up
3) Check locks if applicable
4) Check for broken cables
5) Check for obstructions

Larger Gap at Third and Top Section Joint than at Others

Source Solution
Wrong end hinge in place Replace with #3 hinge or smaller
Header sits in further at opening Pull tracks back away from opening, set door stop tighter to door at third and top section joints
Top of door further back from opening Adjust top roller backer while pushing the top section forward against molding
Top bracket mounted too high on door Lower top bracket mounting position
